I recently had a conversation with a friend that sparked some interest with my daughter’s wardrobe. Many parents will agree that we receive a surplus of baby clothes as gifts from friends and family. Babies grow up so quickly and we barely have time to try on these dazzling outfits, let alone show them off outside of the house. So I have changed my outlook on her wardrobe. No matter how nice or stunning the outfit, my daughter wears it. We could be in the house or gone for a weekly visit to the grocery store.

My take on things is that the outfit will look better on her than in the closet. Ok, I understand that the burburry dress she got for Christmas won’t be making it to the indoor playground anytime soon, but at least she’ll be sporting her new Deux Par Deux leggings with a striped matching tunic, or her Baby Gassy Gooma polka dot capris. And come on moms – aren’t the comments from other mommies great? I know it sure makes me feel fab! Kids just grow up way to fast not to take advantage of all the lovely outfits they receive. I don’t know, this is just my thought.
